OUR HISTORY

Dennis Lowery founded our company in 1975 and established it as a leading chemical distributor and one of the largest Native American owned businesses in the country. In 1977, he was named the North Carolina Small Businessman of the Year and received several other prestigious accolades over the course of his lifetime.

In addition to various positions with community and business boards, Dennis served on the Commission of Indian Affairs, was Chair of the Board of Trustees at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and was the first Native American to be appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond where he later served as Chairman of the Charlotte Office.

Dennis' entrepreneurial spirit still resonates with us today as well as his philosophy that every customer is important and deserves our attention, respect and honesty.
